Fiber Splicer

Single-fiber and ribbon fusion splicing in aerial and underground closures, pedestals, FDH and splitter cabinets, with bidirectional OTDR testing and closeout paperwork. OTDR experience and a clean driving record required.

Pay: $25–35/hr by experience, paid weekly
Schedule: 5 days a week, sometimes 6
Equipment: We supply the splicer, OTDR and gear
Where: Central PA. When a job travels: hotel paid plus $55/day food on days worked
Start: As soon as possible

Splicing on FTTH builds as an independent contractor, paid on production. Rates are set per job and per unit; call or email for the current rate sheet.

Pay: Production rates, set per job
Equipment: Your own truck, splicer, OTDR and insurance

Start: As soon as possible
